Nicole Love Hendrickson was elected chairwoman of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners in 2020, making her the first African American to hold this position in Georgia’s most diverse and second-most populous county. As the Commission Chair, she leads the Board in setting the direction and formulating policies for county government, overseeing the creation and adoption of Gwinnett’s more than $2.5 billion budget, ensuring Gwinnett’s superior services reach all its nearly 1 million residents.
Since taking office, Chairwoman Hendrickson has led Gwinnett County’s efforts to build a stronger, more inclusive Gwinnett: prioritizing transportation and enhancing mobility for all through the creation of a new transit development plan; advancing housing affordability through the creation of the affordable housing development fund; restoring and reinvigorating a thriving economy that delivers economic security for small and minority businesses; and directly engaging with residents to make local government more responsive, transparent, and accountable.
Morgan is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for Brand Properties which he founded in 1998. As the CEO of Brand Properties, Morgan has been responsible for overseeing the development of industrial, office, retail, multi-family, and mixed-use projects throughout Atlanta and the Southeast Region. He currently manages the development, acquisition, and disposition strategy for Brand Properties’ real estate holdings and manages over 5.8 million square feet of third-party assets. Morgan attended the University of Virginia where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. Morgan is a member of the Buckhead Coalition and Chairs the Sugarloaf Community Improvement District. Morgan’s relationships have allowed him to create alliances with the region’s most respected real estate investors, development companies, and financial institutions. With years of experience in real estate development, deal structuring and financing, along with great leadership, Morgan continues to pave a path of success for the Brand Properties team.
Stan L. Hall serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau (Explore Gwinnett). Explore Gwinnett houses, and is responsible for, all operations of Gas South District which include Gas South Arena, Gas South Convention Center, and Gas South Theater.
As CEO, he also oversees the Gwinnett Sports Commission, the PGA TOUR Champions Mitsubishi Electric Classic at TPC Sugarloaf, the Gwinnett Film Office, and Coolray Field, home of the AAA affiliate to the Atlanta Braves, the Gwinnett Stripers. Prior to becoming CEO, Stan was the Chief Operating Officer of GCVB and Executive Director of the Gwinnett Sports Commission and Gwinnett Championship Foundation. He founded the Gas South District Speaker Series which promotes community dialogue through public events featuring local, state, and national speakers, as well as expert-featured panel discussions. He is a fifth-generation resident of Gwinnett, where he and his wife, Janell, continue to happily reside. They have one daughter, Gabriella, and he is a lifelong Georgia Bulldog fan.
