We’re pleased to announce that after almost two years as Project Manager, we’ve promoted Daisy Mills to serve as Director of Operations!

Here is a snapshot of some work that Daisy has been a part of:
Project Highlights
- Assisting with the project management to install both sides of the Synchronicity Mural, totaling over 21,000 sq. ft.
- Leading the research, Call for Artists, and installation of Gwinnett’s first preformed thermoplastic crosswalks, located at Satellite Blvd. and the entrance to the Gas South District
- Coordinating work with multiple vendors for the fabrication and installation of the Sugarloaf Ascension Sculpture
Program Highlights
- Graduating from Leadership Gwinnett’s Class of 2025
- Coordinating the new Sugarloaf Security Meetings in partnership with the Gwinnett Police
- Ensuring the area remains bright and attractive by managing the CID’s landscape maintenance program in the public right-of-way

Daisy joined the CID in March of 2024 after working for two of North Carolina’s largest counties in the Budget and Management Departments; you can read more about her background here.
